Why won't the video play for me?
Many of the videos on Broadbandsports.com require the latest version of Flash Player, Quicktime or Windows Media to play. Be sure you have the latest version of both installed on your computer. If you do have the latest version of both, and you still can not play the video, then it's likely the video itself is not functioning properly. If this is the case, please let us know about the video so we can fix it!
Do I have to sign up to upload videos?
Yes. As a member, not only will you be able to upload videos, you can also add tags, communicate with other members using private messaging, and much more.
How long can my video be?
There is no specific length limit, although most videos on Broadbandsports are under five minutes long. Keep in mind we limit video file size to 100MB.
What video file formats can I upload?
Broadbandsports accepts Quicktime, Windows Media, and Real video formats as well as .AVI and .MPG.
You may also upload a video already hosted on another site by entering its URL. The URL must end with a video file extension in order to work
How long will my video take to upload?
It depends on the size of your video and your connection speed. Generally, on a high speed connection, you can expect the upload to take 1- 5mins for every 1MB.
Is there a limit to how much I can upload?
The only limit on Broadbandsports is 100MB per video. You can upload as MANY videos as you want! The more videos you upload, the more clips there are for the Broadbandsports community to enjoy. So, get going and add your videos to the pile!
